Well, as the name of my company implies, let me tell you about myself.

“LOOK AT ME MOM!”
The performing bug hit me when I was very young. From school plays to performing in more professional productions at the Jewish Community Center, I loved being on stage. My dad's background as a professional pianist rubbed off. My grandmother, Jackie Klein, also plays beautifully. And my great grandmother played piano in silent movie houses. So, it's in my genes! Today, sit me down at a piano and I play by ear. I love music!

MY TEENS:
Around age 13, I discovered sound equipment and was fascinated by the DJ's I saw performing at Bar and Bat Mitzvahs that I attended. I saw how much fun people were having, all thanks to some of the great DJ's I watched ­ they made it look so easy. I was getting hooked!

WHAT A COMBO:
I soon came up with a really cool idea ­ one that I still use today when requested by my clients. Being quite athletic, I am an excellent roller skater. So, I perfected the art of dancing on my roller skates. By the way, you can't miss them ­ they light up the room. From the kids to grand mom and grand pop, people of all ages are fascinated when I dance around this way. It loosens everyone up and has been a key to many of my greatest parties.

I KNEW THIS WAS MY CALLING!
In high school, all the “studious” kids talked about becoming doctors and lawyers. My favorite times were the “good times.” While I didn't quite “ace” Physics, I did get A's in Personality and Parties. I didn't just go to parties for the fun; I went to figure out how to make them even better. A career doing this for a living seemed so natural!

PAID MY DUES!
I've done well over a thousand parties and events. This includes my share of volunteering for good causes ­ Polycystic Kidney Foundation, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Newsboys Day for Children with Disabilities, The Variety Club and others. I've lugged equipment for some of the best­known people in the industry. And I've asked questions and studied this craft with the same intensity as my friends who studied medicine and law. I've been an Emcee for some of the top companies around. I've also worked as a busboy and for photographers, so I understand the full picture. I know how to work with the other key people who will be at your event - the caterer, photographer/videographer, and others.  This is so important, but yet something most people never think about.

MY VISION:
I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly. I know what people want when they book a company such as mine. I won't knock the competition, but I do believe that I deliver exactly what my clients want. And that's why, after 17 years in the biz, I started my own company. I am surrounding myself with other consummate professionals as the need for other talent arises. But bottom line, now when you hire me…you get me! And, like my middle name suggests, I will put my “HART” and soul into making your party or event the best it can be!
